The material
A title, a script, a draft or just the premise. Unfinished is fine — a lot of the best work arrives that way.
The shape of it
Full production, staged reading, workshop or one-night sketch bill, and roughly how many people are in it.
Dates and space
When you are hoping to open, how long you have the room, and where it is.
Budget, honestly
Including when there is not much of one. It changes what I propose, not whether I reply.
